Did you know that every year 80 percent of the world’s Sandhill Crane population stops at the Platte River in Nebraska to rest up and feed while on their migration route? People come from all over the United States and world to see them. Due to mild winter temperatures, a record number of cranes have already been spotted in Nebraska this year.
